Victim identified in deadly shooting in east Pueblo
PUEBLO COUNTY, Colo. (KRDO) -- The Pueblo County Coroner's Office has released the name of the victim who was shot and killed on the east side of town.
Friday night, police responded to the 1700 block of Constitution Rd. at around 10 p.m. for a reported shooting, according to Pueblo Police Department.
Based on the initial investigation, police said the shooting appeared to be an isolated incident with no further threat to the public.
The coroner has identified the victim as 22-year-old Leo Julien Leonardo of Pueblo. He died on the scene from a gunshot wound.
This is the 22nd homicide investigation this year, according to the City of Pueblo.
