Police investigate deadly shooting on Pueblo’s west side

PUEBLO, Colo. (KRDO) -- One person is dead after a late-night shooting in Pueblo. Tuesday at 11:30 p.m., officers with the Pueblo Police Department responded to reports of shots fired in the 2300 block of W. 13th Street.

At the scene, police found the body of a man. According to the PPD, officers spoke with witnesses inside the residence and the Crimes Against Persons Detectives were called out and took over the investigation.

As of Wednesday morning, a suspect had not been identified and no arrests have been made.

Police did say this shooting seems to be an "isolated incident."

The Pueblo County Coroner's Office will release the name of the victim at a later time.
