Pipe bomb found outside Littleton Safeway
LITTLETON, Colo. (KRDO) -- An investigation is underway after multiple law enforcement agencies responded to a pipe bomb outside a grocery store in Littleton.
According to the Littleton Police Department, the device was an actual pipe bomb. Reports of the bomb first came in just a little after 1 p.m. Tuesday.
Police say the device was found outside a Safeway near S. Broadway and W. Mineral Ave.
At 2:37 p.m., police announced the device had been disabled and was no longer a threat.
