Monkeypox is now being tracked through contact tracing

COLORADO. (KRDO) -- According to our partners in Denver at 9News, over 3,000 Coloradans have gotten at least one shot of the two-part vaccine for Monkeypox.

Providers are giving out more than 100 doses a day. So far in Colorado, 109 people have tested positive for monkeypox.

State epidemiologists say they are now using contract tracing methods similar to the ones used for Covid to manage the spread.
