COVID-19 testing sites reduced to one in Pueblo

KRDO

PUEBLO, Colo. (KRDO) -- The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) is reducing the number of state-run COVID-19 testing sites. Beginning in July, Pueblo will only have one location.

The site outside the Colorado State Fairgrounds, at the corner of Acero and Mesa Avenue, is closing on June 30, 2022, at 5 p.m.

The COVID-19 testing site at the Pueblo Mall will remain open.

Pueblo Department of Public Health and Environment, in partnership with the CDPHE, is working to transition COVID-19 testing back to the traditional health care setting.

Testing will continue through federal programs including the Test to Treat program and free, at-home rapid tests.
