Family disturbance Saturday night in Colorado Springs leads to arrest of suspect in storage unit

MGN

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- A suspect was arrested Saturday night after the Colorado Springs Police Department said they were involved in a family disturbance call.

The initial report came in around 8:30 p.m. Saturday for a family disturbance in the 2900 block of Valarie Circle, near Constitution and North Powers. CSPD said after officers arrival, multiple patients were taken to the hospital and police established probable cause to arrest the suspect on felony charges.

CSPD said they found the suspect, Anthony Lobato's, car in the 100 block of East Garden of the Gods Road and determined he was in a storage unit. Police obtained an arrest and search warrant and members of the Tactical Enforcement Unit detained Lobato.

It's unclear at this time if the victims and suspect in the case are from the same family.
