Convenience store robbed in southeast Colorado Springs Friday night

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- A man walked into a convenience store in the 3700 block of Drennan Road Friday night and demanded money from the clerk, according to the Colorado Springs Police Department.

Police said it happened just before midnight and the lone male suspect fled westbound on foot after the robbery. Nobody was hurt and police said the investigation is ongoing.
