‘Dino Stroll’ in Colorado Springs aims to Stomp Out Hunger this weekend

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- Take a trip back in time this weekend with the walk-through Dino Stroll experience at the Colorado Springs Event Center Nov. 6 and 7.

During the event people can get up close to life-like and life-size dinosaurs, some standing over 25 feet tall and spanning over 60 feet long.

Dino Stroll has also teamed up with Care and Share Food Bank in Colorado Springs to "Stomp Out Hunger" and will be collecting canned goods at the door. They said they're in particular need of

• Diapers/wipes
• Cereal
• Canned tuna and salmon
• Peanut butter
• Jelly
• Canned fruit and vegetables
• Rice
• Pasta
• Pasta sauce
• Box dinners
• Box mixes
• Boxed mac & cheese

Ticket are $10 if you buy them ahead of time but prices go up if you buy them at the door. Tickets can be purchased here. Children under two, veterans, and active duty military get free admission.
