4-day-old colt stolen from Weld County farm

WELD COUNTY, Colo. (KRDO) -- The Weld County Sheriff's Office is asking for help in finding a 4-day-old Gypsy colt that was stolen from a farm outside of Fort Lupton.

Deputies say the colt went missing sometime between 10:45 p.m. Tuesday and 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday.

The colt was taken from a property in the 13600 block of Weld County Road 18 1/2, just north of Fort Lupton.

According to the sheriff's office, the colt is valued at an estimated $12,000.
