KRDO

EL PASO COUNTY, Colo. (KRDO) -- The 4th Judicial District Attorney says jury trials in El Paso and Teller counties on or before Jan. 6 will be vacated due to COVID-19 restrictions.

The district attorney's office also says all court proceedings in the counties will also happen remotely, either through Webex or telephone. The changes are happening due to to COVID-19 restrictions as cases rise locally.

The only trial exempt from getting vacated is the case against Marco Garcia-Bravo, who is accused of murdering two teenagers in Colorado Springs back in 2017.
