PUEBLO, Colo. (KRDO) -- The Pueblo Police Department announced they are instating Cold Reporting status for automobile accidents starting Thursday, November 19. Police say this is in response to the rising COVID-19 cases in Pueblo County.

Cold Reporting means people can report automobile accidents at a later time if the following conditions apply:

  • No drugs or alcohol involved
  • No one was injured
  • Less than $1,000 in total damages done to all vehicles involved
  • All drivers remained at the accident scene
  • All drivers involved exchanged insurance information
  • Everyone agrees to exchange information

No word on how long this will be instated.
