Pueblo District 60 will provide free meals to students during online-learning

PUEBLO, Colo. (KRDO) -- Pueblo District 60 announced Wednesday the district will be providing free meals to students during online-learning.

Students will have access to drive-through or walk-up meal distribution sites every Tuesday and Friday, starting November 20. The free meals will resume after Thanksgiving break on December 1 through December 18.

The distribution sites will be open between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. in the rear parking lot or front bus lane of each school.

The district says students will receive six meals on Tuesday, three breakfasts and three lunches. On Friday, students will get eight meals, four breakfasts and four lunches.

Distribution sites are at the following schools:

  • East High School, 9 MacNeil Road
  • Centennial High School, 2525 Mountview Drive
  • Central High School, 216 East Orman Avenue
  • South High School, 1801 Hollywood Drive
  • Risley International Academy of Innovation, 625 Monument Avenue
