Man arrested on weapons charges in Colorado Springs

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) - A man was arrested for Trespassing and Possession of Weapons by Previous Offenders at an apartment complex in Colorado Springs, Monday night.

Around 9:00p.m. Monday night, CSPD officers responded to a call at an apartment complex in the 2900 block of East Fountain Boulevard on a report of a man who was armed with a firearm and was not an invited guest at the complex.

According to police, when they arrived at the complex, they found a man matching the description of the suspect at one of the apartment units. Officers discovered the man was in possession of a loaded firearm with an extended-capacity magazine. He was was arrested for Trespassing and Possession of Weapons by Previous Offenders.
