Frontier Elementary School in D20 reopening Monday, August 31

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- Frontier Elementary in Colorado Springs School District 20 will be reopening on Monday, August 31.

The school was closed on Friday after one person tested positive for COVID-19. But after recent coronavirus test results, a D20 spokesperson said that it is safe for some students and staff members in isolation or quarantine to return. However, one class must remain in quarantine as the school awaits one final COVID-19 test result.

A spokesperson for the district said they are still asking staff and students to conduct a daily symptom check before coming to school. If a student or staff member is displaying any symptoms, D20 is asking them to stay home.
