Pence lands in Colorado Springs ahead of commencement address at Air Force Academy
PETERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. (KRDO) -- The Vice President of the United States landed in Colorado Springs just after 10 a.m. Saturday morning ahead of his commencement speech at the U.S. Air Force Academy. This comes after originally being scheduled to give a video address due to COVID-19 concerns.
The Air Force Academy announced a change of plans a few days later. Pence would instead be making the address in person, landing at Peterson AFB.
Gov. Jared Polis was waiting to greet Pence as he stepped off Air Force Two.
