3 men escape ICE custody in Aurora; 1 wanted in Fort Carson rape case
Three men are still on the loose after they escaped from the Aurora ICE detention facility Sunday, and one of them is a suspect in a rape case from Fort Carson.
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement said the three men scaled a 15-foot chain link fence and then climbed over a wall in the recreation area to escape at about noon Sunday. They’re all wanted on federal criminal warrants for the escape, but two of them had no criminal history otherwise.
One of the suspects, 23-year-old Amilcar Aguilar-Hernandez of El Salvador, is wanted for the rape case in Fort Carson, and he also has a criminal conviction for felony trespassing.

The other two suspects — Douglas Amaya-Arriaga and Carlos Perez-Rodriguez, both 18 — are from Honduras and have no other criminal history.
We’re working on getting more information about the escape. Check back for updates.
