King’s Chef Diner to be featured on Food Network show
King’s Chef Diner in Colorado Springs is usually associated with positive reviews and excitement over new developments, so people will undoubtedly be excited to see the local eatery on national TV next year.
TV crews were filming inside the downtown location on E. Bijou Tuesday morning for an upcoming episode of “Best Thing I Ever Ate.” The show will air on the Cooking Channel, according to one manager at King’s Chef Diner, but the show also airs on Food Network.
Restaurant management couldn’t give many details, but we know the episode will be airing on March 28.
It’s likely that the diner’s green chili stew will be featured as one of the favorites. We’ll have to wait for the episode to see which celebrity chef chose the Colorado chili.
King’s Chef Diner has three locations; two are in downtown Colorado Springs, and a third opened recently in Fountain.
