Pueblo police search for convenience store robber

Police have released surveillance images of a man who they say robbed a convenience store on Pueblo’s east side.

The robbery happened just before 4 a.m. Wednesday (6/26) at the Loaf N’ Jug at 2120 Oakshire Lane.

Police say the robber asked the clerk for cigarettes, then pulled out a gun and told the clerk to hand over “cigarettes and everything you’ve got,” according to Crime Stoppers.

The robber is described as a white or Hispanic male, approximately 30-40 years old, 5 feet 7 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall. He has a stocky build with short black hair, and was wearing a black baseball cap, a long-sleeve black shirt, white undershirt, and gray jeans.
