KRDO’s Thursday Morning Pet of the Week
KRDO’s Pet of the Week, brought to you by the Humane Society and High Country Veterinary Hospital.
Kara is your KRDO Pet of the Week from the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region! She is a five-year-old tan and white Pit Bull mix who came into HSPPR as an owner surrender and now she’s patiently waiting to meet her new family.
Kara is a big sweetheart who loves two things: tennis balls and any living thing that moves. She has experience living with other dogs and she looks forward to spending time with her people each day.
Kara will get excited when she see’s that you have a tennis ball because that means it’s fetch time in the park! She has a lot of energy and will do great in a home that can exercise her and give her mental stimulation on a daily basis. At 70 lbs, Kara is a strong walker, but she walks great on a leash when you have treats or a no-pull harness. Come see Kara at HSPPR and take home the honor of being her first visitor!
