KRDO’s Pet of the Week, brought to you by the Humane Society and High Country Veterinary Hospital.
Roxy is your KRDO Pet of the Week from the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region! She is a two-year-old black and white Boxer and Pit Bull mix that came in as an owner surrender and is patiently waiting to find her new family.
Roxy is a sweet dog with a side of wild, she loves to be pet just as much as she loves to run! She has a lot of energy and will do best in a home that can give her daily exercise and mental stimulation. Which is perfect because Roxy loves to play fetch! She’s a two tennis balls kind of dog so she never has to stop running.
With a happy, wiggly, and jumpy personality, Roxy will excel in a patient home that can work with her on training good manners. In her previous home, Roxy did great with cats and can be uncomfortable around some other female dogs, so it’s recommended that she goes to a home as the only dog.
