KRDO’s Thursday Morning Pet of the Week
KRDO’s Pet of the Week, brought to you by the Humane Society and High Country Veterinary Hospital.
Daisy is your KRDO pet of the week from Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region! She is a one-year-old Calico domestic shorthair cat that came to HSPPR as an owner surrender.
Daisy can be nervous so she will need plenty of time to adjust to her new home. Placing her in her own sanctuary room with food, water, bed toys, scratching post, and litter box will help her adapt to her new surroundings. This room should be quiet with hiding places as well as some perches. Once Daisy has acclimated to the room, a slow introduction to other animals and the rest of the house can begin. She will require a lot of patience!
