Possible road rage leads to deadly shooting in Pueblo

PUEBLO, Colo, (KRDO) -- The Pueblo Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting that they say could've stemmed from a road rage incident.

According to PPD, officers were dispatched at 7:30 p.m. to a shooting in the 2500 block of Taylor Ave. Thursday. At the scene, officers found a male suffering from a gunshot wound. Police did not release the age of the individual.

Police say the male was given life-saving measures on the scene and taken to a hospital. However, he was later pronounced dead.

PPD says the Crimes Against Persons Detective and CIS Detectives were called out and took over the investigation.

According to police, several people were taken to the Police Department for the ongoing investigation.

No word on any arrests.
