Colorado Springs Police respond to shooting on Austin Bluffs

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- The Colorado Springs Police Department responded to a reported shooting Monday afternoon, at 5:44 p.m.

Police say the shooting happened in the 3200 block of Austin Bluffs Pkwy., near the intersection of Meadowland Blvd at the Circle K gas station. Two people were reportedly shot, but both of them are expected to survive, according to police. Police say the suspect is a black male wearing all black, who escaped from the scene. Police told reporters that one person was shot inside the business, and another was shot outside. Both victims were taken to the hospital. It is unknown if the alleged shooter and the shooting victims knew each other.
