Serious closes down area of Platte Ave and Circle Dr in Colorado Springs

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- Colorado Springs Police are asking drivers to avoid the area of Platte Avenue and Circle Drive intersection.

All lanes are closed in all directions due to a traffic accident.

Police have yet to release specific details on this accident.

So far, Colorado Springs has has seen 47 traffic fatalities this year.
