Troopers investigate fatal crash on Highway 285 in Alamosa County
ALAMOSA COUNTY. Colo. (KRDO) -- The Colorado State Patrol is investigating a fatal crash involving a pedestrian on Highway 285.
The crash happened near 17th Street at 10:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Officers say the car was driving southbound on Highway 285 when it struck the pedestrian, who was walking in the same direction in the southbound lane.
The driver did stop after the accident. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the hospital, according to CSP.
No word on whether the driver faces charges.
