6 people shot in El Paso County early Sunday

EL PASO COUNTY, Colo. (KRDO) -- A total of six people were shot overnight at a house party in unincorporated El Paso County.

Around 2:00 a.m. Sunday, the deputies and officers with the Fountain Police Department responded to reports of a shooting in the 20,000 block of Longhorn Point.

Authorities found three people with gunshot wounds and they immediately provided first aid. The adult victims were transported to a local hospital.

Around the same time, deputies learned that three more gunshot victims had driven themselves to a hospital in Pueblo.

The investigation is ongoing, but detectives say there is no known danger to the public. No suspects are in custody.
