Tracking a Warm and Mainly Dry Week Ahead

Good evening, southern Colorado!

All in all it wasn't too bad of a day across our region. Temperatures were still very summer-like in the 80s and 90s and there's more of that warmth on the way! We did see a few showers and thunderstorms earlier but those have since dissipated and we've been left with mostly cloudy skies. The rest of your evening looks to be dry with temperatures slowly dipping down into 70s.

Plan on a calm and peaceful overnight with overnight low temperatures in the lower 60s.

We'll start Sunday out on the the sunny side with clouds moving in as we go throughout the day. By the time the afternoon rolls around we'll see abundant cloud cover with a few showers and thunderstorms possible, especially to our west and south. High temperatures tomorrow will be in the upper 80s around Colorado Springs, and lower 90s for those of you in and around Pueblo.

As we turn our attention to the incoming workweek, we'll continue to see high temperatures hang around in the mid to upper 80s with scattered showers and thunderstorms possible on Monday. The rest of the workweek looks to be mainly dry with high temperatures in the mid to upper 80s. If you're looking for rain Monday looks to be your best chance. It certainly looks to be a great week to be out and about at the Colorado State Fair if you don't mind dodging a shower or two along the way.
