SWAT team responds to reports of a shooting in Pueblo murder-suicide

PUEBLO, Colo. (KRDO) - The Pueblo Police Department (PPD) confirms the large law enforcement scene at a Pueblo County home on Sunday was due to a murder-suicide.

PPD says a SWAT team responded to reports of a shooting in a home in the 2200 block of Inspiration Lane, with police receiving an initial call just after 8:30 am Sunday.

The police department says two deceased persons were found in the home.

PPD says the coroner's office will identify the deceased. Police say this is the city's first homicide in 2025.
