Multiple arrests made after children found behind false wall in Colorado Springs daycare
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- Police have made a total of four arrests related to a local daycare that was hiding children in the basement behind a false wall.
We previously reported on charges against the owner of the daycare, 58-year-old Carla Faith.
On Thursday we learned the names of three other suspects facing related charges.
Police provided the following names and charges of the four individuals involved:
- Carla Faith, 58, was charged with Attempt to Influence a Public Servant, a felony, and Misdemeanor Child Abuse.
- Christina Swauger, 35, was charged with Attempt to Influence a Public Servant, a felony, and Misdemeanor Child Abuse.
- Katelynne Nelson, 31, was charged with Unlawful Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance, a felony, and Misdemeanor Child Abuse.
- Valerie Fresquez, 24, was charged with Misdemeanor Child Abuse.
No photo of Valerie Fresquez is available because she was served and released on misdemeanor charges, police say.
