Crowd Gathers After Bear Spotted In Pueblo Tree

A bear in a tree at 5th and Norwood in Pueblo Thursday night brought out big crowds to see it.

KRDO NewsChannel 13 photojournalist Nolan Campbell says there is a spotlight shining on the bear.

Earlier in the the night, our partners at the Pueblo Chieftain said tranquilizer darts were used on the bear, and wildlife official waited for the tranquilizer to take effect.

Around midnight the bear was safely removed from the tree and reallocated into the wilderness.
