Elevated Fire Danger Thursday

Capture

.

TONIGHT: Gradual clearing with overnight lows in the 40s.

TOMORROW:  High fire danger in place for much of Southern Colorado as winds will gusts as high as 40-45 mph at times, especially after 12pm. Red flag warnings are in place for much of I-25 and the San Luis Valley until 8pm on Thursday.

EXTENDED: Friday looks mainly dry and somewhat breezy with the exception of an isolated shower or storm. What you'll really notice is a cool down as temperatures return to the 50s. The weekend looks a little warmer with highs returning to the 60s. Our best chance of widespread moisture will be on Monday. We will keep you posted!
