Windy for Monday, Significant Mountain Snow

MONDAY: Happy Presidents' Day! Temperatures will remain mild, in the 50s and 60s across the region, but windy conditions will continue through 5 PM (Monday). 75 MPH gusts are possible across higher elevations and east facing slopes (western El Paso County). Otherwise, we remains dry with plenty of sunshine!

EXTENDED: We remains warm and gusty on Tuesday, with snow pushing into the high country. By Wednesday, snow will spill off the mountains towards the I-25 corridor. At this point, perhaps 1-3" is possible along the Palmer Divide, with the potential for greater accumulations up north towards Denver. As snow moves out of the region, a taste of Arctic air moves in.
