Sunny skies and warm this weekend

TONIGHT: Other than an isolated storm or two north and east of I-25 before 8pm, most areas will trend on the dry side. Clear skies and cool overnight. Saturday morning lows will dip into the low-50s.

WEEKEND: Temps in the low 80's for Colorado Springs and near 90° for the eastern plains through the weekend. Sunny, warm, and breezy through both Saturday and Sunday.

EXTENDED: Unseasonably warm temps continue through early next week with breezy afternoons also yielding some elevated fire danger across the region. By the middle of next week we will see an increasing chance for showers and thunderstorms... with temperatures cooling back into the 70s just in time for the official arrival of fall.
