Marty’s Sunday Morning Forecast – Windy & Colder – 11/29/2020
Overview: We’re tracking varied temperatures and some wind over the next few days with a slight chance for snow for some areas late Tuesday into Wednesday. The end of the week looks cool and breezy at times.
Today: We expect a chilly wind for much of the day, but it will be strongest this morning. Enough instability may exist for some clouds and/or flurries to develop over the higher terrain in the Pikes Peak Region for a few hours, but we do not expect significant precipitation with this cold front and most areas will remain mostly sunny. High temperatures should only warm into the 30s and 40s for most areas.
Tonight: Mostly clear with decreasing wind and chilly overnight temperatures in the single digits and teens for most areas.
Extended: Monday should be mostly sunny with some breezy pockets and warmer afternoon temperatures in the 40s and 50s. Clouds and wind will increase late on Tuesday as another cold front reaches the area. Starting late Tuesday or Tuesday night into Wednesday there’s a slight chance for a little snow over parts of our coverage area and the air will be colder again. The rest of the week looks dry and breezy at times with cool, but slightly warming air.
