DENSE SMOKE FOR SOME ON THURSDAY
TONIGHT: Areas of smoke and haze will linger overnight into Thursday morning. Morning lows on Thursday will drop into the low and mid-50s by sunrise.
TOMORROW: Sunshine mixed with wildfire smoke due to ongoing fires all across the west coast. Air quality alerts likely to get reissued for much of the region. Winds veer back south on Friday pushing the heaviest of smoke farther north and slightly improving conditions for S. Colorado.
EXTENDED: High pressure maintains control of our weather pattern as we head into the weekend. A chance for isolated showers and thunderstorms over the higher terrain enters the forecast Saturday and Sunday. Temperatures through the weekend will be above average. Average highs for Colorado Springs and Pueblo are 75 and 82 degrees respectively.
