Man shot and killed on trail near Dorchester Park
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO)--- A man was found dead after a shooting on the Pikes Peak Greenway Trail near Dorchester Park Saturday night, according to the Colorado Springs Police Department(CSPD).
A portion of the trail was closed while officers investigated the scene.
CSPD said they received multiple calls for gunshots heard in the area.
Officers arrived on the scene at 7:17 p.m. Saturday, and when they arrived they found the man had already died.
Police said they have a couple of witnesses and they believe the possible suspect, or suspects ran away from the scene.
Police have not released the name of the victim.
