Enjoy Halloween early with Boo at the Bridge at the Royal Gorge

CAÑON CITY, Colo. (KRDO) -- People are invited to dress up and trick-or-treat along America's highest suspension bridge. This October, people can enjoy Halloween a little early at the Royal Gorge.
“Boo at the Bridge is one of the Park’s most anticipated events. It has become a tradition for many families, as well as our vendors,” said Dona Webb, Sales & Marketing Manager in a press release. “45 businesses and non-profits from the local area will set up booths and pass out candy, provided by the Park. Many of our traditional vendors will be here, along with some that are hosting a booth for the very first time.”
This year's Boo at the Bridge happens Saturday, Oct. 22 from 4 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The park will close at 3 p.m. to general park guests and reopen just in time for participants in Boo at the Bridge.
The Aerial Gondals will be open from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. Guests are encouraged to get there early if they want to ride. Meals and treats are also available in Café 1230 and at special carts stationed throughout the park.
This year, Nature's Educators will provide entertainment at the Plaza Theater. Guests can make their way through a burrow and meet animals while learning fun facts about them.
Special entertainment by Deja Bluz will be featured on the north side of the bridge and The B-Box School of Dance will be on the south side throughout the evening.
The Trick-or-Treating event will take place for children ages four and up and costs $13 at the door, $11 if purchased online, and $8 for season pass holders at the door.
Boo at the Bridge is free for children three and under.
