Officials say High Park Fire now at 70% containment
TELLER COUNTY, Colo. (KRDO) -- Multiple crews continue to battle the High Park Fire burning in Teller County west of Cripple Creek. The fire has been burning since Thursday, May 12.
Tuesday evening, fire officials announced the High Park Fire's containment went from 37% to 70% throughout the day,
Officials say numerous fire engines, water tenders, fire suppression modules, dozers, hand crews, and Hotshots are fighting the fire from the ground.

Right now, Teller County is under Stage 2 fire restrictions. These restrictions went into place on May 13.
