Man wearing a skull mask robs a store in Colorado Springs at knife-point

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) - A man armed with a knife robbed a store on East Platte Avenue, early Sunday evening, getting away with video games and game consoles.

Around 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, Colorado Springs police officers responded to a robbery with a weapon call in the 3200 block of East Platte Avenue.

According to police a man entered the store, looked around for an extensive period of time, then left. Police said the man returned few hours later, showed a knife to the clerk, and stole several video games and game consoles, before leaving on foot. Police said they searched the area but were not able to locate the suspect.

Investigators described the robber as a white male, approximately 5' 7" tall, wearing a tan jacket and a black-and-white mask with a skull design.
