Tracking an Eggcellent Easter Weekend

Today will be be sunny and mild day with highs in the 60s for majority of Southern Colorado, a few hometowns in the High Country will have their highs in the 50s.

We will continue with the clear skies as we head into tonight. Lows will be in the 20s to 30s for Southern Colorado.

Temperatures will increase into the 60s to 70s for Easter Sunday. There is a very slight chance for a pop up shower for portions of the High Country, majority of the High Country will stay dry. Southern Colorado will be mostly clear to partly cloudy. We will have to monitor for potential fire weather concerns for portions of the Eastern Plains.

We will continue with the 60s to 70s for the start of the work week. There is a chance for an afternoon to evening shower.

Tuesday we will have a chance for widespread showers and thunderstorms, highs will continue to be in the 60s to 70s.

Wednesday, there is a slight chance for an isolated rain shower, however most of Southern Colorado will stay dry. We will have to monitor for potential fire weather.

Thursday and Friday there is a chance for an afternoon to evening rain shower with highs remaining in the 60s to 70s.
