Colorado’s COVID-19 dashboard dial: Understanding the different levels
EL PASO COUNTY (KRDO) -- Colorado's COVID-19 dashboard dial highlights five levels, along with capacity restrictions:
- Level Green: Protect Our Neighbors
- Level Blue: Safe at Home - Cautious
- Level Yellow: Safer at Home - Concern
- Level Orange: Safer at Home - High Risk
- Level Red: Stay at Home.
Currently, El Paso and Pueblo County are under the 'Safer at Home: Level 2' status. As COVID-19 cases increase across Colorado, state officials have enforced stricter public health orders.
El Paso County's two-week cumulative incidence rate is at 500.2, and the two weeks average positivity is at 11%.
Under Safer at Home Level 2 guidelines, offices must move to 50% capacity, indoor events are capped at 100 people, outdoor events are capped at 175 people, retail stores must operate at 50% capacity, restaurants must operate at 50% capacity or 50 people with six feet between parties.
Both Fremont and Teller County still hover at the Safer at Home: Level 1 status. But as El Paso and Pueblo county move in the wrong direction and re-enter the Level 2 guidelines on Wednesday, it has many wondering if a Stay at Home order could be around the corner.
