Police investigating fatal crash near S. Circle and Janitell Road

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- Police confirmed that at least one person is dead after a rollover crash that happened Tuesday morning in south Colorado Springs.

The crash happened around 11 a.m. at S. Circle Drive and Janitell Road.

Officers say the driver in the car was going south on Circle Drive when the car crossed the median and crashed down a nearby embankment. Investigators say a medical condition may have played a role in the crash.

The driver hasn't been identified yet, but police said he was an older man.

Police told KRDO the crash is still under investigation.
