Colorado Springs crews continue to battle early morning structure fire after flare up
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- Firefighters were called to a 2-alarm fire early Saturday at an apartment complex construction south of downtown. CSFD said the blaze was under control around 4:30 a.m., but we're now learning the fire restarted Saturday afternoon.
Fire crews at the scene tell KRDO the flare up was likely caused by wind.

The fire was called in at the Cougar Bluffs Condominiums on Cougar Bluffs Point around 2 a.m. At the scene, the Colorado Springs Fire Department found an apartment under construction, with the third floor fully engulfed in flames. That's when the 2nd alarm was called.
Crews wrestled the fire under control just after 4:30 a.m., said CSFD in a later update. A total of 57 firefighters were on scene throughout the morning. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
