COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- Police in Colorado Springs say an officer was investigating a traffic crash at Powers Boulevard and Galley Road late Tuesday night when a driver crashed into the back of a patrol car.

It happened shortly before 10:30 p.m., and the patrol car was parked in a lane with its overhead lights activated, according to police. That's when a driver in another car rear-ended the patrol car.

Police say the driver who crashed into the police car was arrested for DUI. Their identity hasn't been released yet.

No injuries were reported, and the officer wasn't inside the car at the time of the crash.
