4 convenience stores robbed in under an hour Sunday in Colorado Springs, police say

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- Police are investigating after two suspects robbed four convenience stores within an hour early Sunday morning.

Officers were called to the scene of the first reported robbery at 4:13 a.m. in the 1700 block of Jet Wing Drive. Within the next 40 minutes, three more robberies at other convenience stores were reported, police say.

All robberies appeared to have been committed by the same two parties, says CSPD.

Police say they were able locate one suspect nearby, but could not immediately provide any more details.
