Sam Beers ready to lead Air Academy back to prominence

Sam Beers has been on the best players in southern Colorado since he was a freshman in high school.

The Air Academy running back has his eyes set on the school rushing record.

But more than anything, he wants to get the Kadets back to the playoffs.

"A team win matters so much more than the stats," Beers says. "I would rather have my team win and we get zero rushing yards than get like 500 rushing yards in a loss."

Beers, who recorded an 8 touchdown game earlier this season, seems unstoppable, and destined to get the Kadets back to the postseason.
