Pueblo Walmart closes Monday to disinfect facility
PUEBLO, Colo. (KRDO) -- While a COVID-19 outbreak at the store hasn't been confirmed, the Walmart store on Pueblo's south side closed Monday to for a deep cleaning of the facility.
The Pueblo Department of Public Health and Environment said Monday it's working with the retailer to determine if there is an outbreak at the store on Columbia Drive.
PDPHE did confirm that the store closed Monday to disinfect the facility, and Walmart will also be "conducting training for all staff about protocols and how to reduce risk."
Several cars were in the parking lot at the store, but customers weren't allowed inside Monday.
