Officials say High Park Fire now at 100% containment
TELLER COUNTY, Colo. (KRDO) -- Several crews have spent days working to battle the High Park Fire in Teller County, west of Cripple Creek. The fire burned for nearly two weeks.
Tuesday morning, fire officials announced the High Park Fire's containment is now at 100%.
Officials say countless fire engines, water tenders, fire suppression modules, dozers, hand crews, and hotshots battled the flames from the ground.
