Pueblo bus fares are coming back

Pueblo Transit Bus

PUEBLO, Colo. (KRDO) – Beginning Tuesday, September 1, City of Pueblo Transit bus fares will be reinstated. The fares were suspended to help Puebloans during the COVID-19 shutdown.

Bus fares will continue to be free for K-12 students with a valid student ID.

Pueblo Transit is requiring riders to wear face masks the entire time they’re on the bus. Bus ridership is strictly limited to 15 passengers.

The city says standby buses are available for overflow passengers and will be dispatched by bus drivers when the passenger limit stops someone from being able to get on the bus.
