Two arrested after serious assault in Colorado Springs
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- The Colorado Springs Police Department says two people were arrested Friday after a serious assault.
Around 5:40 p.m., two people were arrested on the 4000 block of Baytown Drive. Police say they executed a search warrant after a two-day investigation into a serious assault.
22-year-old Bryan Renaud was charged with attempted murder in the first degree, aggravated robbery, assault in the first degree and false imprisonment.
21-year-old Belinda Velasquez was also arrested and charged with aggravated robbery and false imprisonment.
CSPD says officers recovered several pieces of evidence during the search warrant.
